I recently finished Sarah Marquis’ book Wild by Nature, an account of her three years in the wilderness walking 10 000 miles from Siberia to Australia. Along the way she faces such hardships as life-threatening illness, dehydration, run-ins with the Mafia and ringworm yet still pushed through and completed her journey against insurmountable odds. A story of resilience in the face of adversity, danger and physical and mental struggle, I would recommend this book to anyone seeking to get out of their comfort zone and embark on a big adventure.
